Roger Pena Chaves

Intake Specialist

Roger is an Intake Specialist at the firm in charge of scheduling new consultations for the firm. Roger is from Colombia and has a background in administrative assistance and sales. Roger enjoys being able to assist those in need navigate the immigration process. As the first point of contact for the firm, Roger strives to maintain good communication with potential clients, as well as compassion for their situation. Roger speaks Spanish and English and lives in Cali, Colombia.


Gabriela Ortiz

Intake Specialist

Gabriela was born in Alausí, Ecuador. She is a multitasking professional with experience in education, translation, and tourism. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Universidad Católica del Ecuador, as well as degrees in English Literature and Tourism from the University of Cuenca. Her academic background has shown her how important it is to be able to communicate effectively with others. As an Intake Specialist, she is dedicated to assisting potential clients who are struggling with the complex immigration system. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.


Juan David Penagos Rosas

Juan David Penagos Rosas

Juan David Penagos Rosas is an Intake Specialist at the firm and a native of Cali, Colombia. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he developed a strong foundation in human behavior, communication, and client-centered support.

Drawing on his background in psychology, Juan David brings empathy, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills to every client interaction. He understands that many individuals seeking immigration assistance are navigating significant life transitions, and he is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories and concerns. Nicole Moran

Client Communication and Document Specialist (USCIS)

Nicole Moran is a bilingual legal professional based in Daule, Ecuador, originally from Guayaquil. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is a licensed attorney in her home country and brings nearly two years of focused experience navigating the intricacies of the U.S. immigration system. Her practice encompasses a broad range of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status applications, employment authorization requests, and asylum proceedings.
At her firm, Nicole is recognized for her precision, efficiency, and unwavering commitment to client advocacy. She collaborates closely with attorneys and paralegals to streamline case preparation and documentation, ensuring each matter is handled with clarity, empathy, and meticulous attention to detail. Ebony Lopez serves as a dedicated Legal Assistant, bringing over three years of hands-on experience as a paralegal to her role. She has developed a strong foundation in legal procedures, client communication, and case management, allowing her to effectively support attorneys through every stage of case preparation. Ebony is skilled in drafting and proofreading legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, managing critical deadlines, and coordinating client intake with professionalism and attention to detail.

Known for her reliability and collaborative approach, Ebony contributes to a positive and supportive work environment while ensuring that both clients and colleagues feel well-supported throughout the legal process.

Outside of the office, Ebony is a proud spouse and parent of two. She enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations with her family, bringing the same sense of curiosity and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her work. Ebony speaks English and Spanish.

Nadia Vargas was born in Durango, Mexico, and raised in Chicago, IL. As an Immigration Paralegal for over 10 years, Nadia has extensive knowledge and experience in all matters regarding the immigration process. Her experience includes working side by side with numerous immigration attorneys across the country, as well as operating her own immigration paralegal company in Chicago, IL. Nadia current serves as the Supervising Paralegal with the firm. As an immigrant herself, she continuously strives to provide clients with exceptional customer service, thus making the immigration process smooth and straightforward. Her extreme passion for the immigration field has been cultivated by helping others, and customer satisfaction is her top priority. Nadia attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

With over 10 years of experience, Oscar Herrera is an immigration paralegal at the Law Office of Rosina C. Stambaugh, specializing in removal proceedings. He provides vital support to clients navigating the immigration system, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
In his free time, Oscar enjoys staying active and exploring new restaurants.


Priscila Pamplona

Priscila Pamplona is a trilingual legal professional whose career spans two countries, two legal systems, and over 13 years of dedicated practice in law. A licensed attorney in Brazil (OAB) and recognized Foreign Legal Consultant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Priscila brings to the Law Office of Rosina C. Stambaugh an exceptional depth of legal knowledge, international perspective, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

Priscila holds dual Master of Laws degrees from two distinguished institutions — Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito Rio), one of Latin America’s most prestigious law schools, and Boston University School of Law, a flagship institution of American legal education. This rare academic foundation positions her at the intersection of civil law and common law traditions, equipping her to navigate complex legal landscapes with precision and confidence.Her U.S. experience is equally distinguished.

For nearly four years, Priscila served under a federal government contract within the Immigration Court of Massachusetts, providing sophisticated legal support to respondents facing removal proceedings — including many who stood before the court without representation. In that role, she became a steadfast advocate for the vulnerable, a skilled navigator of EOIR procedures, and a trusted voice in some of the most consequential legal proceedings a person can face.

A Notary Public and proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), New England Chapter, Priscila is also the co-author of Law of Refugee, a scholarly publication developed alongside distinguished Brazilian and European jurists — a testament to her standing in the international legal community.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Marisol has worked in the immigration field for nearly four years. With a background in Criminal Justice, she brings a solid understanding of legal processes, which she uses to support clients and the legal team with diligence and compassion. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Marisol excels at helping individuals navigate the complexities of immigration court, providing clear guidance and empathetic support at every step. Her strong communication skills and attention to detail make her an essential part of the team. Outside of work, Marisol enjoys spending time with her family and baking. She especially cherishes traveling to Zacatecas, Mexico—where her roots are—to give her son and daughter the opportunity to connect with loved ones and experience their cultural heritage.


Santiago Paredes Amores

Client Communication and Document Specialist (EOIR)

Santiago was born on January 5, 1989, in Riobamba, Ecuador. He is a versatile professional with experience in interpretation, translation, logistics, education, and tourism. His academic background in business administration and tourism has enabled him to excel in strategic management, higher education, and language services.

He holds an MBA from Rey Juan Carlos University, a master’s in business Excellence from the European Open Business School, and a degree in Tourism Enterprise and Natural Areas Management from UTE University. His career spans key roles in educational consulting, strategic planning, and financial sustainability for higher education institutions. As in intake specialist, Santiago is able to use his diverse background and skills to assist potential clients navigate the complex immigration system.  Santiago is fluent in English and Spanish.
